What You BringWe’re looking for a hands‑on accounting leader who values strong controls, clarity, and continuous improvement. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • A passion for maintaining high‑quality, audit‑ready financials in a growing organization.
  • A collaborative, team‑first mindset with experience leading and developing junior accountants.
  • Strong accountability—you set clear expectations, follow through, and hold others to a high standard.
  • A process‑driven approach with a focus on documentation, controls, and scalability.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; high‑growth, SaaS, fintech, or benefits experience preferred.
  • Prior experience leading or reviewing work performed by junior accounting staff.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, balance sheet management, and month‑end close processes.
  • Experience with sales tax compliance and multistate operations.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization skills, and documentation standards.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a SOC I, SOC II, or PCI‑regulated environment.
  • Advanced financial reporting, Power BI, or data‑driven analysis experience.
  • Experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors.
